Which service should you check now?
If you are searching for a Bahrain Flexi Permit, start with LMRA’s current Registered Worker Permit service. It covers applications through approved Labour Registration Centres for a skilled activity and work card. Do not rely on an old Flexi Permit price or a promise that any visitor can apply.

Who can apply?
LMRA’s published conditions require the worker to be in Bahrain with a terminated work permit. The worker must have no criminal record or absconding offence, must not be in breach of their contract, and must not appear on a commercial registration ownership list.
- Visit visa holders are not eligible for this service.
- Use the eligibility checker linked from LMRA’s service page before starting an application.
- Do not cancel an active permit solely to try to qualify; obtain case-specific guidance from LMRA or an approved centre.

How to apply through an approved registration centre
The official checklist asks for a passport copy and the Registered Worker Permit Service Form. An approved centre submits the application and supporting documents. LMRA and NPRA review it before the permit and work card are issued.
- Use the approved-centre list linked from the official service page.
- Check the authorised activity and obligations with the centre. This guide does not establish permission to perform every commercial activity.
- Keep copies of the application, receipts and issued documents.

Fees and timing
LMRA lists different initial charges for six-month, one-year and two-year permits, plus monthly fees. The schedule distinguishes permit issuance, health insurance, residency extension, ticket insurance, work card and administration charges. Check the current table and the charges applicable to your case before paying.
Authority processing estimates depend on review by the participating bodies; they are not a guaranteed approval date. BahrainAgent’s private assistance does not replace an approved registration centre or an authority decision.
